Large Kennel House:

Blythe Wood Works is excited about our western red cedar kennel house. With an elevated floor level of 12 inches, the inside environment is dryer, more bug free and cooler in the summer, and warmer in the winter.

When placing the kennel house inside a wire kennel, the pressure treated legs are impervious to dirt or cement. Also, the elevated design permits effortless kennel cleaning.

If your kennel house requires an outside-the-wire kennel placement, the optional two (2) inch extension jamb allows the door jamb to be inserted through the kennel wire (an opening of 16 w x 19 h). An outside-of-kennel installation provides additional kennel area for the dog and prohibits him from chewing or damaging the house.

Frankly, a kennel isn't necessary for our kennel house. The workmanship and design of this house make it attractive enough for any backyard setting. One more point worthy of discussion...if you have a dog that likes to hang out on the roof of his house, this is the house for him. The roof system is rated for over 200 pounds!!! It has the strongest floor and roof system of any house on the market. This house has a simple lift-off roof with no screws to remove.

Like all of our houses, the Kennel House has many options: Insulation, Seal Safe™ door , pet mat, a 2" extension door jamb, hard or soft heated pads, and even the DogAire air conditioning system.
